Drinking one or two glasses of fruit juice a day is an excellent way to help your detox along. Apart from trying the juice recipes in the book, you can make your own from almost any fruit - just peel, chop, and blend, adding water as necessary. Juices made from the wnole fruit ate better for you than juices made in an extractor (where the pulp is discarded) because the whole juice will contain more vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and enzymes.
Try: cranberries and blueberries for help with kidney function; banana juice for pre-menstrual tension; kiwi fruit, mango and guava for fighting infection; figs, prunes and citrus fruits for a sluggish bowel; apples for an upset stomach; and pineapples and papaya for indigestion.
